Frequently Asked Questions
-
Occupational therapy (OT) helps individuals build the skills they need to participate in everyday life—at home, at school, and in the community. For children and teens, this may include support with regulation, independence, social interaction, routines, and navigating daily expectations.
At Balance Point OT, we take a neurodiversity-affirming, real-world approach. Rather than focusing on isolated skills, we work in natural environments and everyday situations so strategies feel meaningful, practical, and easy to carry over. Our goal is to support confidence, autonomy, and participation—helping individuals engage in life in ways that work for them.
