Building Confidence, Connection, and Independence
The Connection Club is an occupational therapist-led community participation program designed for teens and young adults (ages 16–25) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social communication differences. Through structured, real-world experiences, participants develop the practical life skills, confidence, and independence needed to navigate their communities successfully.
Unlike traditional social skills groups, The Connection Club brings therapy into everyday environments. Participants practice meaningful skills in the places where they naturally occur—restaurants, stores, recreational settings, and other community locations—allowing them to generalize what they learn into daily life.
Our small group format provides individualized support while encouraging peer interaction, friendship development, and increased independence in a safe, structured environment.

Social communication and conversation skills

Our Philosophy
At Balance Point Therapy, we believe that meaningful growth happens through participation—not just practice. By combining occupational therapy with real-life community experiences, we empower young adults to develop the confidence, skills, and independence needed to participate fully in their everyday lives.
Real life is the curriculum, and every community experience becomes an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.
